Occupied Jerusalem, January 19 (QNA) - Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Monday under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that over 286 settlers stormed the mosque through the Mughrabi Gate and performed provocative Talmudic rituals in its courtyards.
These incursions has been a part of the occupation's efforts to erase the Islamic and historical identity of occupied Jerusalem, in an attempt to alter the status quo at the mosque and divide it temporally. (QNA)
