London, July 18 (QNA) - Qatar's Abderrahman Samba finished third in the men's 400m hurdles at the London Diamond League on Saturday, the 11th meeting of the 2026 season.

Samba clocked 48.10 seconds to finish behind Germany's Emil Agyekum, who was second in 47.45, and Norway's Karsten Warholm, who won in a world-leading 46.61.

The London meeting marked Samba's second Diamond League appearance of the season after the opening event in Xiamen, where he recorded his season's best of 47.93 seconds.

His podium finish keeps the Qatari in contention for the Diamond Trophy ahead of the remaining meetings in Silesia, Zurich and Brussels in September. (QNA)
