One Killed in Israeli Strike on Southern Lebanon
Beirut, November 16 (QNA) - An Israeli drone strike on the southern Lebanese town of Mansouri killed one person on Sunday, according to the Lebanese National News Agency.
The attack comes despite a ceasefire agreement that went into effect on Nov. 27 last year, requiring Israeli forces to withdraw from border villages in southern Lebanon within 60 days. The Lebanese government later extended the deadline to Feb. 18, but the occupation forces have remained at five positions and continued violations.
Since the ceasefire took effect, Lebanon has reported more than 7,000 airspace violations and over 2,400 military activities in the area of operations of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). (QNA)
