LoginUS and Kuwait Reaffirm Strategic Partnership and Regional Security Cooperation
Kuwait City, June 04 (QNA) - US Secretary of State Marco Rubio held talks in Washington with Kuwait's Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, focusing on strengthening the long-standing strategic partnership between the two countries.
According to Kuwait's Foreign Ministry, both sides discussed expanding cooperation across political, defense, investment, and cultural fields, aiming to further deepen bilateral relations and advance shared interests.
The two ministers also condemned Iranian attacks against Kuwait, with Kuwait affirming its right to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
They stressed the importance of continued coordination between Kuwait and the United States at various levels, particularly amid ongoing regional tensions, in order to address current challenges and promote stability and security in the region. (QNA)
