QSE Index Opens Lower
Doha, September 17 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index fell 14.96 points, or 0.16%, to 9,622 points at the start of trading on Thursday, driven by losses from six sectors.
The market data showed positive performance in Telecoms (+0.37%). Meanwhile losses were recorded in Industrials (-0.04%), Consumer Goods and Services (-0.13%), Transportation (-0.17%), Real Estate (-0.20%), Banks and Financial Services (-0.21%), and Insurance (-0.43%).
By 10:00 am, turnover stood at QR 40.644 million, with 18.798 million shares traded in 2,585 transactions. (QNA)
