China Launches Emissions Satellite
Beijing, April 17 (QNA) - China launched a Long March-4C rocket carrying a high-precision satellite designed to monitor greenhouse gases into its planned orbit.
Launched from the Jiuquan center in northwest China, the satellite is equipped with advanced remote sensing technology to accurately detect sources of carbon and methane emissions from space.
It is expected to provide key data to help assess pollution levels and track international climate commitments.
This marks the 638th mission in the Long March rocket series. (QNA)
