Doha, April 17 (QNA) - The Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs (QSRSN) organizes a comprehensive training program for autism awareness, as part of its activities organized during the autism awareness month of 2019 under the theme of "Assistive Technologies and Effective Participation". 

 The program begins on April 21, and lasts for four days, includes a series of lectures on Autism, the optimal intervention strategy for autistic people, safety and developmental characteristics of autistic child, basic diagnostic tests, and other topics related to the care and rehabilitation of autistic child and the formation of positive relationships with them and the use of technology to develop their abilities. 

 QSRSN called on the parents of children who suffer from autism, specialists and supervisors working in this field, as well as teachers of all educational institutions working in the field of disability in the country to participate in this comprehensive training program. The member of the Board of Directors of QSRSN Taleb Afifa said that the training program is free and registration is available through the official email: info@qsrn.org for the target groups of parents of autistic children, educational support teachers and specialists in the care and rehabilitation of autistic children.
