Seven Killed in Israeli Airstrike Targeting Southern Lebanon
Beirut, April 05 (QNA) - Seven people were killed on Sunday in an Israeli airstrike targeting southern Lebanon, in a new escalation of tensions along the Lebanese border.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health's Emergency Operations Center stated that an Israeli airstrike on the town of Kfarhatta in the Sidon district of southern Lebanon resulted in the deaths of seven people, including a four-year-old girl, according to initial reports.
Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes renewed their airstrikes on Beirut's southern suburbs.
Field sources reported that Israeli aircraft launched an airstrike on Ghobeiri area and another on Jamous area, causing widespread panic among residents. (QNA)
