Iraq Extends Airspace Closure for 72 More Hours
Baghdad, March 16 (QNA) - The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority (ICAA) announced the extension of airspace closure for all inbound, transit, and outbound flights for an additional 72 hours as a temporary precautionary measure.
The closure will be extended starting from today until Thursday afternoon, ICAA added in a statement, clarifying that the move is based on constant assessment of the security situation and regional developments.
It further explained that the decision will be reevaluated in accordance with updates, indicating that aviation carriers and relevant entities will be notified of any further updates shortly. (QNA)
