Omani, Egyptian FMs Discuss Developments of Regional Military Escalation
Muscat, March 16 (QNA) - Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi met with his Egyptian counterpart Dr. Badr Abdelatty.
The meeting reviewed the latest developments concerning the current military escalation in the region. The two sides expressed their deep concern over this escalation and its expanding scope, agreeing on the paramount importance of halting it and working to end the war.
The Omani Foreign Minister expressed his appreciation for the existing cooperation and coordination between the two countries. He praised the efforts exerted by the Egyptian side alongside the Omani side within the framework of political and diplomatic endeavors to support the pursuit of regional security and stability, and to bolster political solutions to ongoing crises.
For his part, the Egyptian Foreign Minister valued the mediation efforts undertaken by the Sultanate of Oman aimed at de-escalating tensions and advancing the pathways for political solutions in the region. (QNA)
