Mangusteen Wins Ekbes Ramadan Beach Volleyball Championship

Doha, March 15 (QNA) - The third edition of the Old Doha Port Ramadan Beach Volleyball Championship (Ekbes) concluded Saturday, following a competition that began on March 6 and featured 12 teams.

Mangusteen secured the championship title with a straight-set victory over Al Mirqab in the final match, while Team Al Udeid claimed third place.

The organizing committee awarded a total of QR 100,000 in prize money to the top three teams: QR 50,000 for the champion, QR 30,000 for the runner-up, and QR 20,000 for the third-place team.

Faisal Al Otaibi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, praised the success of this year's tournament, particularly noting the enthusiastic turnout from spectators since day one. He highlighted the high level of competition, with teams delivering strong and intense performances.

The event also featured a variety of accompanying activities, with participating organizations contributing to the tournament's overall success. Al Otaibi commended their collaborative efforts in making the championship a standout event. (QNA)
