Israeli Occupation Forces Advance into Quneitra Countryside Southern Syria
Damascus, April 06 (QNA) - Israeli occupation forces advanced Monday into the villages of Al Samdaniyah Al Sharqiyah and Al Ajraf in the Quneitra countryside, southern Syria.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) said that an occupying force consisting of several military vehicles entered the village of Al Samdaniyah Al Sharqiyah and set up a military checkpoint at the village entrance.
SANA noted that a second occupation force entered the village of Al Ajraf, set up a temporary checkpoint and proceeded to search passers-by, before the two forces withdrew from the area without any reports of arrests.
The occupation forces also targeted Tel Al Ahmar Al Sharqi in the southern countryside of Quneitra, with an artillery shell originating from the occupied Golan, with no reports of casualties.
An Israeli occupation force had earlier today entered the area between the villages of Ruwayhina and Zubayda Al Gharbiya in the southern Quneitra countryside, and set up a temporary checkpoint on the road connecting them.
The Israeli occupation continues its attacks and violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement by incursions into southern Syria.
Syria continues to demand the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation from its territory, stressing that all measures taken by Israel in southern Syria are null and void and have no legal effect according to international law. (QNA)
