Muscat, January 16 (QNA) - Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi discussed with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov bilateral cooperation and ways to enhance it in various fields during a telephone call on Friday.

The two ministers exchanged views on current developments and the latest events in the Middle East.

They also emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to promote dialogue and diplomacy in order to achieve de-escalation and contain tensions, thereby contributing to the peaceful resolution of all issues and crises. (QNA)
