Brussels, December 15 (QNA) – European stocks closed higher Monday at the end of trading.

The pan-European Stoxx 600 index rose 0.7 percent, with most sectors and major exchanges posting gains.

Britain's FTSE 100 index climbed 1 percent to 9,751.31 points, while Germany's DAX index rose 0.3 percent.

France's CAC 40 index closed 0.7 percent higher. (QNA)
