QSE Index Opens 0.09% Lower

Doha, September 15 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index fell 8.51 points, or 0.09%, to 9,815 points at the start of trading on Tuesday, compared with Monday's close.
Three sectors advanced, led by Insurance, which gained 0.34%, followed by Transportation at 0.27% and Real Estate at 0.10%.
Four sectors declined, led by Telecoms, which fell 0.22%. Consumer Goods and Services and Banks and Financial Services each dropped 0.15%, while Industrials slipped 0.06%.
By 10:00 am, trading on the QSE reached QR 29.305 million, with 16.008 million shares changing hands through 2,084 transactions, according to QSE data. (QNA)
