Egypt, UAE Presidents Discuss Ties, Region
Cairo, June 15 (QNA) - President of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met on Monday with HH President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during his visit to Egypt.
The two leaders discussed avenues for deepening relations and cooperation between the two countries, as well as a range of regional and international matters of shared concern, primarily the evolving situation in the Middle East region.
According to a statement by the Egyptian Presidency, both Presidents welcomed the agreement on the US-Iran memorandum of understanding to halt the war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
They also underscored the importance of constant coordination of Arab positions to safeguard the security and interests of Arab nations in the forthcoming phase. (QNA)
