Doha, June 15 (QNA) - Aspire Zone Foundation has announced that its annual Summer Camp will be held from July 5 to 30, running Sunday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Aspire Dome for boys and the Ladies Sports Hall for girls.

The Aspire Summer Camp is one of the foundation's flagship annual programs for children. Since its launch in 2017, it has established itself as a comprehensive platform combining sports, educational, and recreational activities for young participants.

The camp is open to boys and girls aged 6 to 14, offering a packed schedule of sports activities, educational workshops, and field trips to some of Doha’s most prominent landmarks.

Registration is now open through Aspire Zone Foundation’s official website.

Commenting on the initiative, Executive Director of Facilities and Events Ahmed Mohammed Al Hassan said Aspire Zone opens its world-class facilities to children from across the community, driven by their strong belief in the importance of instilling a culture of sport and healthy living in younger generations.

Through this camp, he stresses, they aim to help build a healthier, more active, and more aware generation.

The camp will feature a wide range of interactive activities tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Boys’ activities include archery, football, basketball, volleyball, e-sports, swimming, martial arts, and fitness games, while girls will take part in archery, arts activities, swimming, e-sports, basketball, volleyball, and fitness games.

Aspire Zone Foundation also noted that Tuesdays will feature sports and educational programs in cooperation with several organizations, including the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, the Qatar Red Crescent Society, the Qatar Sports for All Federation, and the General Directorate of Traffic. Meanwhile, Thursdays will be dedicated to recreational and educational field trips to major attractions across Doha.

The camp will conclude with a closing ceremony on July 30. (QNA)
