Kuwait, April 14 (QNA) - Boursa Kuwait closed higher on Tuesday, with its general index gaining 11.46 points, or 0.13%, to 8,705.54.

A total of 471.9 million shares were traded across 26,496 cash transactions, with a combined value of KWD 93.8 million (around $287 million).

The Main Market Index rose 33.66 points, or 0.42%, to 8,004.12, with 332 million shares traded in 14,473 transactions worth KWD 38.3 million (around $125.2 million).

The First Market Index advanced 7.33 points, or 0.08%, to 9,306.56, with 139.9 million shares traded in 12,023 transactions valued at KWD 55.5 million ($181.4 million).

Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index climbed 92.37 points, or 1.07%, to 8,755.38, with 303.9 million shares traded through 12,220 cash transactions worth KWD 34.9 million ($114.1 million). (QNA)
