Hong Kong to Host Saudi Super Cup
Riyadh, June 13 (QNA) - The Saudi Arabian Football Federation announced Friday that Hong Kong, China, will host the 2025 Saudi Super Cup from August 19 to 23, with the participation of Al Ittihad, Al Hilal, Al Nassr, and Al Qadisiyah clubs.
The federation said in a statement on its official website that holding the tournament in Hong Kong is a continuation of the tournament's strategy to hold several editions outside the Kingdom, with the aim of building strategic international partnerships that promote Saudi football.
The Saudi Arabian Football Federation noted that the tournament draw will be held in the coming period to determine the matches.
The Hong Kong Stadium, which has a capacity of 40,000, will host the tournament matches.
The stadium was built in 1953 before being renovated in 1994. (QNA)
