Doha, April 03 (QNA) - Al Sailiya rallied to snatch a thrilling 2-2 draw against Al Ahli in Week 20 of 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Al Thumama Stadium on Friday.
Driss Fettouhi (ninth minute) and Michel Vlap (13th minute) delivered the early blows for Al Ahli, but Al Sailiya hit back in the second session through Diago Amaro (54th minute) and Cristian Del Bello (80th minute) to force a stalemate.
The result took Al Ahl's tally of points to 20, while Al Sailiya moved to 19 points in the standings.
Fettouhi drilled home the opening strike from outside the box after assist from Julian Draxler and soon Michel Vlap made the most of a back flip pass from Oumar Sekou to go on and beat the goalkeeper.
Amaro made a superb leaping header off a corner kick to open scoring for Al Sailiya before Del Bello picked a long drive down the right to weave his way past defenders and make it 2-2. (QNA)
