Bangkok, April 11 (QNA) - The draw for the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Beach Tour Samila Open, to take place in Thailand from April 12 to 15, determined the pools in which Qatar's teams will compete.

Qatar team (1), consisting of Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan, was placed in Pool B alongside Hong Kong (1) and Oman. 

Meanwhile, Qatar team (2), made up of Mohamed Ihab and Mousa AlKheer, was put in Pool A with Thailand (1) and Hong Kong (2).

The tournament will feature 27 teams representing 15 countries, divided into eight pools.

Qatar team (1) will begin its campaign tomorrow against Oman in an important opening match that presents an early challenge for Qatari duo to assert their technical strength and secure a strong start. (QNA)
