Gaza, September 11 (QNA) - The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which began on Oct. 7, 2023, has reached 64,718 martyrs and 163,859 injured.

In a statement today, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said that within the last 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 72 martyrs and 356 injured people.

The statement added that nine martyrs and 87 wounded have arrived at hospitals since yesterday (Wednesday), bringing the total number of those killed in the struggle for a living to 2,465, and more than 17,948 wounded, as a result of the Israeli occupation's targeting of aid queues and distribution areas.

It also noted that hospitals in the Gaza Strip recorded seven new deaths over the past 24 hours, including a child, as a result of starvation and malnutrition. This brings the total number of starvation victims to 411, including 142 children. The total death toll since the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement on March 18, 2025, has reached approximately 12,170 martyrs and 51,818 wounded.

The toll from the comprehensive Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip remains provisional, given the presence of thousands of other victims under the rubble, unable to be reached by ambulance and civil defense crews due to a lack of equipment and the targeting of any relief operations by occupation forces in Gaza, amid a catastrophic humanitarian situation that has reached the point of famine.
