Doha, September 10 (QNA) - The Qatar Stars League (QSL) held its Ordinary General Assembly meeting on Thursday. 
The meeting was attended by President of QSL HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Thani, CEO of QSL Hani Taleb Ballan, members of the Executive Committee, Presidents and representatives of club companies (General Assembly members); and QSL Executive Directors.
President of QSL welcomed the attendees, expressed his best wishes to the national teams for upcoming major tournaments and events, hoping they achieve results that reflect the stature and ambitions of Qatar football, wishing everyone success for the ongoing 2026-2027 football season.
Hani Taleb Ballan read out the meeting agenda. The General Assembly meeting proceedings included the formal ratification of the Ordinary General Assembly meeting in accordance with QSL statutes, the acceptance of the agenda, and the appointment of members to record and review the meeting minutes.
Furthermore, the assembly approved the minutes of the previous General Assembly meeting held on June 2, 2025, and accepted the annual report on QSL activities. The meeting also saw the presentation and approval of QSL's audited financial statements for the fiscal year, the independent auditor's report, and a proposal to amend the statutes. Several inquiries and observations raised during the meeting were also addressed. (QNA)
