Beirut, July 01 (QNA) - An Israeli drone targeted on Wednesday a car in al-Deir neighborhood in Nabatieh al-Fawqa, southern Lebanon, before launching a second strike on the town less than half an hour later.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the drone targeted the car with a guided missile causing it to catch fire, with no immediate reports of injuries.
The agency added that a civil defense team came under fire from Israeli forces on the outskirts of Nabatieh al-Fawqa as they were heading to extinguish the fire.
An Israeli drone dropped a stun grenade on Nabatieh al-Fawqa, while another drone dropped three stun grenades on the town of Yater in southern Lebanon.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese Army announced that its engineering regiment had successfully removed an unexploded missile, a remnant of the war, to ensure the safety of citizens and eliminate the danger to the area.
Earlier today, a statement issued by the emergency operations center of the health ministry noted that the cumulative death toll from the Israeli aggression since March 2 had risen to 4,297, with 12,196 wounded. (QNA)
