Beirut, June 01 (QNA) - Lebanese President Joseph Aoun said negotiations with Israel are a "sound and responsible" option, stressing that diplomacy is preferable to war and remains Lebanon’s only viable path to reduce further damage.
Aoun emphasized that negotiations do not constitute "surrender or concessions", but rather a "practical" approach to ending conflicts.
He also noted that consolidating all weapons under state authority will take time, while the Lebanese Army has already established operational control over southern Lebanon. (QNA)
