Two People Injured Israeli Airstrikes on Southern Lebanon
Beirut, February 01 (QNA) - Two people were injured in a series of new Israeli airstrikes today on several areas in southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health stated that Israeli warplanes targeted the towns of Maaroub in the Tyre district and Qanarit in the Sidon district, resulting in injuries to two people.
A ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon came into effect in November 2024, stipulating the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within 60 days. The Lebanese government subsequently agreed to extend the deadline until February of last year. However, the occupation army remained in five locations and continues its violations. (QNA)
