Doha, February 01 (QNA) - Qatar Chamber and the Workers' Support and Insurance Fund (WSIF) discussed ways to enhance cooperation in labour affairs, business, training, and awareness.
This took place during a meeting between Acting General Manager of Qatar Chamber Ali Bu Sharbak Al Mansori, and Executive Director of the Fund Khloud Saif Al Kubaisi.
Also present at the meeting were Director of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department at Qatar Chamber, Hussein Yousef Al Abdul Ghani, and Head of the Training and Development Department Fatima Issa Al Kuwari.
Discussions focused on avenues of cooperation between both bodies on labour-related issues, key challenges and proposals, and coordination to organise specialised training courses, workshops, and awareness seminars.
In his remarks, Ali Bu Sharbak Al Mansori stressed Qatar Chamber's keenness to cooperate with all relevant parties concerned with labour affairs to discuss challenges and develop solutions that safeguard the interests of both employers and workers. He highlighted the Chamber's role in raising awareness of labour legislation through seminars and workshops.
For her part, Khloud Al Kubaisi said that the Fund seeks to support workers, improve their conditions, and ensure a safe work environment, adding that her visit aims to enhance cooperation through joint meetings with Qatari business owners and companies. (QNA)
