Kuwait Amir Issues Decree Reshuffling Cabinet
Kuwait City, February 01 (QNA) -HH Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah has signed an amiri decree reshaping the country's cabinet, according to the state news agency KUNA.
The decree includes the appointment of Omar Al Omar as Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology.
Under the new changes, Osama Boodai has been appointed Minister of Commerce and Industry, while Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah was named Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The reshuffle also saw Dr Reem Al Fulaij appointed Minister of State for Development and Sustainability, Dr Tareq Al Jalahma as Minister of State for Youth and Sports, and Abdulaziz Al Marzouq as Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment.
In addition, Abdullah Bouftain was appointed Minister of Information and Culture, while Dr Yaqoub Al Refaei was named Minister of Finance.
The decree forms part of ongoing efforts to reorganize the government's executive leadership. (QNA)
