Bishkek, August 27 (QNA) - Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov affirmed that his country permanently stands with Palestine, adding that Kyrgyzstan is ready to support the Palestinian movements in the international arena in quest of achieving the aspirations of the Palestinian people and their all rights.
During his meeting on Sunday with the Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs Riyad Al Maliki, Japarov expressed his country's interest in reinforcing and upgrading bilateral relations with Palestine in a variety of fields, along with his confirmation to proceed with supporting the Palestinian rights in the international arena, including various United Nations' organizations, alongside the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Japarov called on the international community to halt its selective polices and double standards, particularly with respect to Palestinian issues, stressing that his country is ready to provide all possible support to enable the Palestinian people to enjoy their rights in their independent and sovereign state.
For his part, Al Maliki briefed Japarov on the situation in Palestine from various aspects and the persistent suffering of the Palestinian people due to the occupation's measures that have been pervasive for more than 75 years.
However, the international community has come to standstill with the lack of accountability measures against the occupation authorities, Al Maliki added. (QNA)
