Doha, January 23 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani inaugurated the strategic fighter jet wing No. 5 Ababil (F15 QA) of the Qatar Amiri Air Force at Al Udeid Air Base on Tuesday morning.
His Highness made a tour during which he was briefed on the newly manufactured Ababil F15 QA aircraft and their combat capabilities, and the most prominent methods of modern technology used in it. His Highness also made a tour during which he was briefed on the immediate take-off building (air-to-air) and (air-to-surface), pilots building, in addition to visiting the aircraft depot and maintenance building.
