Consultative Sessions on National Human Rights Action Plan Continue

Doha, June 21 (QNA) - The consultative sessions on the National Human Rights Action Plan 2026-2030 - organized by the committee designated to prepare the National Human Rights Action Plan, continued on Sunday.

The consultative session was hosted by HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim, and chaired by HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad.

During the session, several topics related to the Shura Council's specializations and competencies were discussed, in addition to proposals and guidelines that support the preparation of the plan in a way that enhances its alignment with national policies and legislation.

At the end of the session, the importance of the National Human Rights Action Plan was emphasized as a national framework that promotes the protection of human rights. (QNA)
