Doha, December 01 (QNA) - Uruguay coach Diego Alonso said Wednesday his side is well prepared for tomorrow's encounter against Ghana at Al Janoub Stadium in Group H final fixture at FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Alonso said that the atmosphere within the training camp is positive and calm, stressing his confidence in his players.
Uruguay made a lot of goal-scoring chances against Portugal without netting, he said, adding they will win in Friday's match if they showed the same performance they gave in the second half against Portugal.
Forward Luis Suarez said Uruguay were ready for the Ghana clash.
Suarez stressed the need for his side to grow into the match and achieve victory, affirming his readiness to face challenges and to shoulder his responsibilities. (QNA)
