Defense Unit Against Weapons of Mass Destruction Starts Security Scan for World Cup Stadiums

Doha, November 09 (QNA) - Defense Unit Against Weapons of Mass Destruction at the Ministry of Defense has begun conducting a security scan for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 stadiums to confirm the nonexistence of chemical and radioactive materials, in cooperation with the Security and Safety Operations Committee (SSOC) of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and brotherly and friendly forces.

So far, the security scan included Al Janoub stadium and Ahmed bin Ali stadium, where the latest technologies and advanced devices were used during the scan.

This comes within the preparations of the Ministry of Defense to secure the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
