Doha, November 29 (QNA) - HE Deputy Chairman of Majlis A'Shura of the Sultanate of Oman Said bin Hamad A Saadi underlined that the dazzling and outstanding organization of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is a historic achievement of the State of Qatar under the leadership of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and a source of pride for all Gulf people, and Arabs and Muslims all over the world.

In remarks to Qatar News Agency (QNA) during his current visit to Doha, His Excellency hailed Qatar's outstanding organization of the FIFA World Cup as impressive and a source of pride; expressing his hope for the State of Qatar to achieve more successes and accomplishments under its wise leadership.

Regarding the suspicious campaigns targeting Qatar World Cup, HE the Deputy Chairman of Majlis A'Shura of Oman affirmed that the State of Qatar has succeeded in responding to these misleading campaigns through its distinguished organization of the World Cup and its great achievements on the ground.

He noted that the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 constitute an important occasion through which the State of Qatar succeeded in highlighting its identity, introducing the Arab and Islamic culture to the world, and promoting the cultural heritage of the region and the authentic Gulf customs and traditions, which contributes to strengthening rapprochement and cultural communication between peoples of the world.

On the other hand, HE Deputy Chairman of Majlis A'Shura of Oman Said bin Hamad A Saadi highlighted the historic and deep-rooted relations between the State of Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman, noting continuous development in the relations thanks to the directives of the wise leaderships of the two brotherly countries.
