Doha, November 28 (QNA) - Brazil national team coach Leonardo Bacchi (Tite) stressed the victory achieved today against Switzerland 1-0 in the second round of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Group G was not easy as Switzerland was tough to overcome.

He said, in the post-match press conference that this match was different than the previous one. Getting the desired result required great efforts, especially since the Swiss national team withdrew, waiting for Brazil to make mistakes to launch a counter-attack. Switzerland showed great toughness, but Brazil found solutions and scored a goal that was canceled and then scored another goal.

Regarding the changes made during the match, Tite said that the team have a good and large group of distinguished players, and when things do not go according to what we want, we have to try other plans, so we make changes, but as for Paqueta, he complained about an injury and was replaced early by Rodrigo, who performed very well.

On the absence of Neymar, he said: "Neymar has a different skillset. He is a player in a magical moment and can dribble past one and another -- he has that skill. Other players are getting to Neymar's level and I hope they get there. So we miss Neymar, we do miss him, he has a big creative power, he's very offensive, we miss him.

But there other athletes we saw at the beginning who took the opportunity." For his part, Swiss national team coach Murat Yakin said that the loss they suffered against Brazil Sunday was due to the lack of courage in attack and surprising the opponent. (QNA)
