Doha, November 28 (QNA) - The Coach of the Dutch national football team Louis van Gaal confirmed that his mission with the Dutch national team as coach will conclude at the end of the World Cup whatever happens, after an agreement was reached between the Dutch Federation and the substitute coach.

Van Gaal said that facing the Qatar national football team tomorrow, in the last set of Group A competitions in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, will not be easy at all, stressing that nothing is guaranteed in a competition like the World Cup.

He added in the press conference that preceded the match today that the match will be difficult without any doubt. The coach remarked the results of several matches that were such a big surprise in this current World Cup edition so far, where great teams lost unexpectedly, proving therefore that nothing is guaranteed, which makes it imperative for the Dutch squad to be fully focused in order to achieve the desired result.

Van Gaal stressed that the Qatari team always plays in the same way, relying on five defenders in the back, three players in the middle, and two in the front. However, the Qatari Squad carries out quick and dangerous counterattack, which means that the Dutch must be careful.

The coach contrasted that with the Dutch squads adoption of several playing styles, and being very flexible, expressing his prediction that the match will be like a chess game between the two teams in terms of tactics. Van Gaal added that his team wants to take possession of the ball and create opportunities and achieve victory to ensure qualifying to the second round as champion of the group.

Louis van Gaal stressed that the Dutch performance in the previous match against Ecuador was not to level, given that the Dutch national team committed many errors. However, he said that his team is eager to go far in the World Cup, and even win the title.

In turn, Dutch star Frenkie de Jong stressed that the match will be difficult, like all matches in a major tournament such as the World Cup, pointing out that all teams have prepared well for the tournament, thus facing the Qatari team will not be easy, after they demonstrated great strength, especially physically.

The Barcelona star added that their goal is to win the match and qualify for the round of 16 stage, and the team wants to deal with each confrontation separately and win the host countrys team before thinking about anything else.
