Doha, November 25 (QNA) - Qatar's Coach Felix Sanchez said that losing to 1-3 to Senegal today in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Group A Competition does not reflect the overall performance of the team throughout the match.
The team could not impose control over the first half, as the Senegalese team exhibited great defense coherence and harmony, Coach Sanchez said pointing that Qatar could still create several opportunities and put pressure on Senegal's team.
The performance of the Qatari team was much better during the second match than that of the first one, he told (QNA) pointing that the Senegalese team comprise a lineup of international players.
Felix Sanchez concluded that they are aware that this competition is of a high level, believing that Qatar has excelled in organizing this World Cup and the Qatari team is working to reach the next World Cup, adding that Qatar has succeeded in organizing a distinguished World Cup. (QNA)
