Doha, November 03 (QNA) - Qatar's benchmark stock index closed higher on Tuesday, gaining 23.35 points, or 0.24%, to reach 9,614.07 points.
Trading activity during the session saw 156,100,801 shares change hands, with a total value of QR435.69 million through 32,402 transactions across all sectors.
Shares of 18 companies advanced, while 32 recorded losses. Three companies remained unchanged from their previous closing prices.
The market's total capitalization rose to QR581.98 billion at the close of trading, compared with QR581.22 billion in the previous session. (QNA)
