Senegal Coach Proud to Make First Win in World Cup

Doha, November 25 (QNA) - The coach of the Senegalese national team Aliou Cisse expressed pride of his team's performance in their match with Qatar, first win in the Senegal's World Cup campaign.
At the post-match press conference, Cisse said that his team played a good match and exhibited harmony and coherence.
The absence of Sadio Mane has affected the team's overall performance, Cisse said pointing that football is a team sport that depends on team spirit not individuals.
Boulaye Dia, who scored Senegal's first goal and was selected Man of the Match, said he was happy for being named best player in the match, stressing that his performance was a result of the significant efforts made by his teammates.
He added that the result of the match was curtail as it brought the team's world cup campaign back on track. (QNA)
