Doha,November 25 (QNA) - The fans of Wales football team have been placing great hopes on their country's team in FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. However, after the good performance in front of US team in the opener, followed by the team's losing to Iran 2-0, Gareth Bale's squads mission to qualify in group B is becoming complex.
The Wales masses depicted superb painting at the stands of Ahmed bin Ali Stadium with their traditional red uniforms, famous Welsh hats, in the atmosphere filled with their chants and shouts that did not subside.
Despite the fact that the loss frustrated the Welsh fans, given that it came at the fatal time, they still believe in their country's national team and its ability to do something in the last confrontation with the English team in a special kind of derby.
In in their statements to Qatar News Agency (QNA) the Wales fans confirmed that the English team is powerful, including the difficulty of confronting a team with integrated ranks and have a distinguished type of excelled professional footballers.
The British journalist Bronwen Weatherby underscored that the presence of Wales team in the tournament is enormous achievement after long absence lasted for over 64 years, adding that no one of her generation has ever witnessed the qualification of the team for any world cup championship, although the team made achievements over the six past years in UEFA European Championships 2016 and 2020, indicating that she is pleased with her team which is playing under pressure, adding that the England team is fine and includes many excellent players and could top the list of group B teams.
Weatherby noted that Argentina's loss to the Saudi Arabia was a surprise as this loss was not bothering them much more, because Argentine could knock out early from the tournament.
For his part, Wales journalist Charles Robinson confirmed that the shows performed by the Welsh fans at the Qatari stadiums are part of the support plan for the team footballers, and that arrangements have been made by those responsible for these fans to show the world the passion of the Welsh fans, adding that Welsh masses who came to Qatar were keen to visit some tourist places and learn a lot about Qatari culture, especially the Souq Waqif, Corniche and the Katara Cultural Village, indicating that Qatar is certainly a small country, but it is full of vitality and is very similar to the lifestyle in Wales, which is also a small country, and by seeing many places here, he noticed that Qatar is characterized by diversity, and all places are overlooking the sea.
