Doha, November 24 (QNA) - German national football team Coach Hansi Flick confirmed that his team has a lot to offer in the upcoming confrontation against Spain on Sunday, as part of the group stage of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Flick said in a press statement today that the team must play as if it had nothing left after its loss yesterday, and that this is how the matter must be delt with.
Germanys coach said that he saw many positive aspects in his teams playing against Japan for 70 minutes of the time, before their performance fell sharply in the last 15 minutes, stressing that every player should now look forward to making the maximum effort against Spain.
Flick added that it is imperative that things are turned around by trying to do things better, adding that there is a lot of work to be done.
He continued by saying that the two goals Germany received should have been prevented differently, denying that goalkeeper Manuel Neuer was still impacted by his recent shoulder injury, which caused him to miss participation in his teams-Bayern Munich-in its last seven matches.
Flick assured that he has no knowledge of Neuer suffering from any issues, as Flick checked on Neuer several times. The German Coach explained that Neuer is in great shape. (QNA)
