Doha, November 24 (QNA) - The President of Qatar Camel Mzayen Club Hamad Jaber Al Athba, hailed the distinguished kick-off of the Mzayen World Cup championship on the sidelines of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in Al Shahaniya district, stressing the great keenness to promote the sport of parents and grandparents.
In a press statement, Al Athba said the club has long planned to participate and make a distinguished contribution to keep pace with the World Cup in Qatar, the most prominent sporting event in the world, and contribute practically to defining the identity of the Qatari society, and the specificity of the relationship between the Arab Gulf man and the camel.
Al Athba stressed that the club harnessed all available financial and human capabilities in order to advance the sport of parents and grandparents, drawing attention to the great interest and passion this sport enjoys from all the people of the region, as it is an integral part of their history, heritage and civilization that is mainly associated with desert life and camels.
Welcoming the World Cup fans, Al Athba said that everyone is welcome to the championship everyday from 8 am to 12 pm to enjoy activities that inform Qatar's guests about its authentic sporting heritage, and highlight the world of camels. (QNA)
