Doha, November 19 (QNA) - The Serbian national team arrived Saturday evening in Doha to participate in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which starts Sunday with Qatar facing Ecuador at Al Bayt Stadium in the opening match.
Dragan Stojkovic, coach of the Serbian national team, had recently announced a 26-player squad for the World Cup.
Serbia qualified for the World Cup three times before they participate in the 2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup.
Serbia plays in Group G along with Brazil, Cameroon, and Switzerland. The Serbian national team will take on Brazil at Lusail Stadium on November 24, Cameroon on November 28 at Al Janoub Stadium, and Switzerland on December 2 at 974 Stadium. (QNA)
