Marbella, October 28 (QNA) - The Qatari national football team defeated Honduras 1-0 in a friendly match Thursday in Marbella, Spain, as part of its preparatory camp for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which will be held from Nov. 20 to Dec. 18.

Almoez Ali scored the only goal of the match in the 60th minute, to lead the Qatari team to its third victory this month, after winning Nicaragua 2-1, and Guatemala 2-0.

The Qatari national team lost against the local teams of Croatia (0-3) and Canada (0-2), before drawing with Chile (2-2) during the last stoppage on the FIFA calendar. (QNA)
