Israeli Entity Intensifies Attacks on Southern Lebanon
Beirut, November 01 (QNA) - The Israeli entity intensified its attacks on southern Lebanon on Sunday.
Field sources reported that Israeli assaults on Lebanese territory included heavy artillery shelling targeting the towns of Sarbine, Al-Mansouri, Kafr Tibnit, Al-Qantara, Beit Yahoun, Bani Hayyan, and Al-Qusair. The artillery bombardments also extended to Wadi Al-Hujair (toward the outskirts of Tulin), Wadi Al-Salouqi, Wadi Zibqin, Wadi Al-Aziyah, the area between the towns of Hadatha and Haris, the region between Zawtar and Mifdoun, and the outskirts of the towns of Baraachit and Kunin.
Additionally, an explosion was recorded in the town of Aitaroun, while Israeli warplanes carried out two airstrikes targeting Wadi Al-Hujair–Faroun area and Al-Qusair region.
In June, Lebanon and the Israeli entity signed a framework agreement, mediated by the United States, that outlines security arrangements, including gradual deployment of the Lebanese Army and the withdrawal of the occupying forces. The agreement also encompasses measures related to reconstruction and economic recovery; however, the implementation of its provisions continues to face obstacles. (QNA)
