Coalition to Restore Legitimacy: Houthi Group Targets Saudi Cities With Ballistic Missiles, One-Way Attack Drones
Riyadh, September 09 (QNA) - The Houthi group has continued its nefarious attacks on Saudi national assets and infrastructure, the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen said Wednesday.
Official Spokesperson of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen Maj. Gen. Turki Al Malki said the group carried out offensives today against the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha and Jazan using several ballistic missiles and one-way attack drones.
He added that the continuation of these assaults makes it quite evident that the Houthi group is prosecuting its escalation campaign by targeting Saudi civilians.
Al Malki stressed that the Coalition Joint Forces Command will responsibly fend off these attacks to protect Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and national assets, as well as civilians and civilian facilities, from these reprehensible assaults.
He assured that this responsible move would comport with the principle of self-defense under international law and Article 51 of the UN Charter, as well as international humanitarian law and its customary rules. (QNA)
