Libya Deplores Houthi Attacks on Several Cities in Southwestern Saudi Arabia
Tripoli, September 08 (QNA) - Libya condemned Tuesday the Houthi attacks on several Saudi cities, including Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran.
In a statement, its Foreign Ministry reiterated the nation's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in all actions it takes to protect its territory, the safety of its citizens and residents, as well as its assets.
The ministry asserted that it unequivocally repudiates all forms of violence, stressing that targeting civilian facilities and endangering civilian lives flagrantly violate international law and international humanitarian law, constituting a grave escalation that would imperil Saudi Arabia's security and stability.
Libya further reiterated its support for all global de-escalation efforts and efforts to strengthen regional security and stability. (QNA)
