Doha, September 30 (QNA) - The teams of Al Mirqab and Al Wukair advanced to the final match of the 16th edition of Al Furjan Football Championship held by the Qatar Sports For All Federation (QSFA), under the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
Following its win against Al Rayyan 4-2, Al Mirqab advanced to the final match, while Al Wukair advanced after beating Umm Al Jamajim 3-1.
Al Mirqab and Al Wukair will face off on Tuesday at Khalifa Sports City Stadium.
Executive Director of the QSFA, Abdullah Al Dosari, stated that the championship witnessed, since its start, a competitive atmosphere and a strong technical performance, and praised the semi-final matches.
Al Dosari expressed his satisfaction at the performance presented by the players and the people behind them, as well as the emergence of new and promising Qatari youth talents.
These matches play a great role in shaping them by gaining experience and developing their technical performance, he added. (QNA)
