Beirut, September 08 (QNA) - Lebanese President Gen. Joseph Aoun vehemently deplored Tuesday the Houthi attacks on several Saudi cities, including Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran, which targeted civilian and economic objects and resulted in injuries to several civilians, including women and children.

The Lebanese leader stressed that these hostile actions amount to an unequivocal breach of the sovereignty of a brotherly nation, posing a direct threat to the safety of Saudi citizens and residents.

He confirmed that Lebanon fully stands with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in fending off this assault, stating that the Kingdom's security is inseparable from Lebanon's security and that of the entire Arab region.

Aoun further emphasized that any attack on Saudi Arabia's sovereignty warrants collective Arab and international condemnation. He reaffirmed that Lebanon stands by Saudi Arabia in all measures that would protect its security, stability and sovereignty. (QNA)
