Cairo, September 07 (QNA) - Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty reviewed, during a phone call today with his UK counterpart Ed Miliband, developments in the Palestinian issue in light of the daily and systematic Israeli violations against the Palestinian people in the occupied Palestinian territories, whether in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, or in the Gaza Strip.

The two sides discussed illegal Israeli settlement activities and the escalating violence and attacks by settlers against Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank.

They condemned these practices and warned of their dangers and repercussions, while stressing the need for the international community to act urgently and exert the necessary pressure to bring them to an end. (QNA)
